A political aide who served in influential roles with New York Republican heavyweights such as Mayor John Lindsay and Gov. Nelson Rockefeller and managed part of President Richard Nixon’s reelection campaign has died. Fioravante (fee-or-uh-VAHN’-tay) Perrotta was 80.
